Producing plant: IFAZ
DESCRIPTION:
The valves relate to safety class 2 or 3 according to the Firefight Safety Rules, to group B or C according to the rules for an atomic power plant. As far as application and functions according to the Firefight Safety Rules are concerned the valves can be used as the elements of the normal operation system – H, Protective – З, Providing – O and Localizing - Л.
The valves are made with the spindle gland seal ensuring a controlled leaks tapping from the intra-gland seal area in case the valves are installed to the system with the radioactive working medium.
The structure of the valves ensures their work under excess pressure and vacuum.
The structure of the valves includes a local indicator of the end positions of the stopping organ. The manually actuated valves (with a fly-wheel, articulated coupling, bevel gear speed reducer) may be modified with the remote control of the end positions at the control desk.
APPLICATION: Wedge-action valves with the extending spindle are intended to be used at the atomic power plants (APP) as the stopping facilities of the processing lines.
MOUNTING: The valves are connected to the equipment and pipelines by welding. The valves can be installed to the vertical pipeline at any position. The valves can be installed at the horizontal pipeline in the upper semi-sphere towards a horizontal plane. The mounting position of the electrically driven valves can be any except for the position when the electric motor is under the electric drive.
